SupMup
Is it a good time to paddle?
SupMup is an app for stand-up paddleboarders. It answers one question first — are conditions good right now, where you are — then records your paddle and lets you share it with other paddlers.
What the app does
Wind and conditions
SupMup reads live wind speed, gusts, direction and temperature for your location or any spot you search for, and turns them into a plain verdict — whether it is a good time to go out, and why. It shows the next twelve hours so you can pick a window.
Session recording
Start a session and SupMup records your route by GPS, along with distance, duration, average and top speed, and the weather at the time. Recording keeps running with the screen off, so a paddle is not lost when the phone goes into a dry bag.
A feed for paddlers
You can keep a paddle private or share it. Shared paddles appear in a feed where other paddlers can see the route, the conditions and a photo, and can like or comment. Every session is private or public by your choice, set when you save it and changeable afterwards.

Why SupMup asks for your Google account
Signing in is only needed to record and share paddles — checking the wind needs no account at all. When you do sign in with Google, SupMup requests the following, and uses each only for the reason given:

| Your email address | Identifies your account so your paddles are still there next time you sign in, on any device. It is never shown to other users and never emailed to. |
| Your profile picture | Used as your avatar until you choose a different one. You can replace or remove it at any time. |
What SupMup does not do
- It does not read, send or have any access to your Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar.
- It does not sell or share your data with advertisers. There is no advertising in the app.
- It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Your data stays yours
- Private by choice — any paddle can be kept off the feed.
- Analytics is optional — switch it off in the app at any time; it takes effect immediately.
- Delete everything, yourself — one action in the app removes your account, every session, photo and comment, and your sign-in. See how to delete your account.
